Editorial Policy

Accuracy

We use primary sources – such as GOV.UK, HMRC, the Bank of England and the Financial Conduct Authority – for all rates, thresholds and rules. Where a figure has not been officially published, we say so.

Calculator verification

Each calculator is built on a versioned rule file and covered by automated tests using worked examples. Rules are re-checked at the start of each tax year and after Budget announcements. Each calculator shows the tax year it applies to and links to its sources.

Independence

We do not accept payment for coverage or rankings. Pages may carry clearly labelled advertising, which never influences content.

Authorship

Articles are written and reviewed by the Calcmondo Editorial Team. We do not use invented author personas.

Updates

Articles show their publication and last-updated dates. We review guides regularly and update them when rules change.

Corrections

If you spot an error, email hello@calcmondo.com. We aim to review reports within five working days and correct confirmed errors promptly.
